The first effective ring segment that allows keratoconus treatment with good results were 160º/200µm Ferrara Ring segments that has proven to be one of the most common implant programmming. 60% os cases were treated with 160º segments.
Important variations were observed for 140º and 210º segments that has shown good results for Astigmatic or Nipple Cones.
Post Tomo and Femto facilities 320º were possible showing Very Good Results for Very Advanced Cases of Keratoconus
